To use the StudentTranscripts Service (STS) as a former student, you need to know whether or not you have a Personal Education Number (PEN).

You attended a B.C. K to 12 school before 1986

Order as a former student
without a PEN

You attended a B.C. K to 12 school before 1986,
You didn't write a B.C. provincial exam (introduced in 1986), and
You didn't graduate between 1974–1985

Please see Additional Services if you are a former student and you

Completed the General Educational Development (GED^®) test from 1973 to 2014, or
Graduated between 1974 and 1985

PEN: Personal Education Number. Your nine-digit number identifies you in B.C.'s education system. Most students have a PEN and it's different from your student number.

BCeID: A separate online account that provides access to government services. You might need to sign up for the first time while ordering transcripts. You will use it for other government services.
