MyEducation BC provincial student information system
Last updated on July 7, 2026MyEducation BC (MyEd BC) is British Columbia’s secure student information system (SIS), supporting K-12 education across all public school districts, most independent schools, some Independent First Nations schools, and the Yukon. It plays a vital role in managing student data and enabling learning by handling everything from attendance and scheduling to Learning Updates and Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
MyEd BC is governed through a collaborative model that includes representation from every public school district in B.C., independent schools, independent First Nations schools, and the Yukon. Through the Service Management Council (SMC) and supporting committees, all partners have a voice in shaping the system’s direction. This shared governance ensures that updates and improvements reflect the real needs of educators, students, and administrators.
