Location of events

Criteria

To the extent possible, locations of events, training, workshops, conferences, etc., should be central to all potential attendees, and accessible by public transit and bike routes. Secure bike lock-up or designated bike racks are preferred, and attendees should be made aware of all options prior to program start. Encourage attendees to travel to and from the event using the lowest-carbon options available. Encourage carpooling, if active or public transport are not accessible for all attendees. Sample RFx questions

• Identify the location of the proposed facilities, and the attendees' access to and use of nearby public transit, active transportation options, and supports, including any bike facilities, as well as EV charging stations available.
• Describe how attendees will be made aware of transportation options.
