Potential Approval, Permit or Code of Practice Requirements

Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure projects often involve clearing on Crown land. The Forest Act stipulates that cutting timber on Crown land requires a Licence to Cut from the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations District Manager and prescribes stumpage payable to the government in respect of Crown timber.
