Library Materials Shipping

The Library Materials Shipping Rate is a special reduced Canada postal rate available for library materials. Eligible library materials include books, magazines, records, CDs, CD-ROMs, audio cassettes, video cassettes, DVDs, audiovisual materials, and other similar library materials.

Library administrators should visit the Canada Post website for detailed instructions and policies related to how and what items you can send through this service

Library Shipping Tool

Libraries must use the electronic Library Book Shipping Tool to create mailing labels with Library Material Rates.

Libraries can register with Canadian Urban Library Council to get an Library Book Shipping Tool account
