At Family Justice Centres and Justice Access Centres, we can tell you about key community and government agencies. These services can help a wide range of family and family-related matters. They are often located right in your community or are available province-wide. If you wish, we can contact them for you and book appointments as needed.

If necessary, staff may give you information about how to get into court quickly and refer you to legal advice.
If you need help resolving a dispute about child support, we can refer you to a Family Justice Counsellor or Child Support Officer.
BC Family Maintenance Agency (BCFMA). BCFMA monitors and enforces support payments for enrolled parents. By registering your orders or agreements with BCFMA, you may avoid going to court. Some people decide to enrol with BCFMA simply because it's easier to have BCFMA keep a record of their support payments.
