Federal release plan

When you are preparing to leave a federal correctional centre, corrections staff will help you plan for your release. Your correctional plan will draw on available community support and identify services and resources to help you make positive changes as you return to the community.

The plan describes such things as:

• Where you can go and cannot go
• Your commitment to finding a job
• Specific issues in your life and what to do to solve them
• The supervision plan
