The Merritt / Lillooet TSA Forest Stewardship Plan (FSP), in the BCTS Kamloops business area, shows the location of forest development units in the Kamloops natural resource district. ​

The Merritt / Lillooet TSA FSP provides the results and strategies BCTS will follow to ensure sustainable forest management and meet the legal requirements of the Forest and Range Practices Act and regulations.

British Columbia Timber Sales (BCTS) Kamloops Business Area is preparing to renew its Forest Stewardship Plan (FSP) for the Merritt and Lillooet Timber Supply Area which is set to expire June 2023.

While operating under the current FSP, BCTS has received valuable feedback from the public, stakeholders, and Indigenous communities. 

BCTS will be strengthening and enhance FSP objectives and strategies around water, wildlife and access management within the Merritt and Lillooet TSAs through the FSP renewal process.

We invite you to provide any information about resource values or features that are of interest to you and any comments as to how BCTS operations could impact those interests.  

We will be reaching out directly to identified Indigenous communities for further feedback and discussion.
