Kootenay - Agricultural Land Use Inventory Projects

The Kootenay region includes East and Central Kootenay, the southeast areas of Kootenay Boundary, and the southeast areas of Columbia-Shuswap (Golden to Parson). ALUI projects in the Kootenay region of British Columbia are listed below.

Projects are carried out to support land use planning and water management strategies. Generally, reports are prepared when local governments are undertaking land use planning exercises such as the development of Agricultural Area Plans.

Agriculture Water Demand Model Reports also use Agricultural Land Use Inventory data and are prepared when undertaking water management plans.
