2014 Quota Transfer Assessments Review

On July 8, 2014, boards and commissions had an opportunity to provide recommendations to the BC Farm Industry Review Board (BCFIRB) on amendments to quota transfer directions arising out of the 2005 Specialty Review. 

BCFIRB has received industry-specific recommendations from the BC Milk Marketing Board, the BC Egg Marketing Board and the BC Chicken Marketing Board to amend certain quota transfer directions. BCFIRB board members have reviewed these requests and have decided to further consider the requests once all submissions have been received.
