About your assistance

We’ll work with you to understand what participation looks like for you. If you choose not to participate, it may affect your assistance.

Some people experience exceptional circumstances. If so, you may be exempt from employability planning activities without financial consequences.

If you are job-ready, you are encouraged to contact WorkBC directly.

Single parents

If you are a single parent, you may also be eligible for additional support and training. Supports include:

  • Training
  • Child-care assistance
