Data visualization

This data visualization tool for LGCAP displays local government and Modern Treaty Nation climate initiatives as well as greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from traditional services.

Sharing public data on local climate action promotes transparency and collaboration among communities. It also empowers citizens and policymakers to make informed decisions. These decisions drive meaningful progress in addressing climate change.

Data for local governments and Modern Treaty Nations in B.C. is displayed, and can be filtered by:

  • Modern Treaty Nation
  • Municipality
  • Regional district
  • Economic development region
  • Community size

The data visualization includes a Read Me tab. The tab explains how to navigate the data visualization and defines the terms used.
