Pacific Leaders strengthens the public service’s contribution to our province and sharpens our competitive edge to recruit and retain high calibre employees.
Scholarships for public servants
Get support to further your education and advance your career goals in areas that align with the B.C. government's current and future skill needs.
Scholarships for children of public servants
If your parent works for the public service and you're a full-time student taking a bachelor’s program, trade, technical or vocational training at a designated school or university in B.C., you're eligible to apply for one of 60 scholarships of $2,500 offered each year.
Loan forgiveness
Work for the BC Public Service and we’ll forgive your B.C. student loan at the rate of one third of the total per year.
Tuition grants for co-op employees
Participate in the BC Public Service’s Co-op Program and receive up to $1,000 each work term to cover your co-op work term tuition fee.
