Organizational coaching

Organizational coaching partners with BC Public Service senior leaders and executives to deliver high impact coaching solutions, which are customized and designed to align leadership behaviour with strategy in order to achieve organizational goals.

Organizational coaching may be for you if:

• Your ministry has a new Leadership Development Program that requires coaching support

About the process

Through consultations, we discuss the organizational objectives and intended outcomes of your ministry’s initiative or leadership development program.

We provide expert advice, information and options for consideration as we work with you to create a customized coaching solution that will meet the needs of your program or initiative. We plan next steps and assign Business and Leadership Coaches to deliver coaching solutions.

The Coaches will also work with you to monitor progress and identify what is needed to sustain desired results.

Executive endorsement is critical to the success of the program to ensure that the objectives are aligned with the organization’s priorities and mandate. Senior executive messaging and support will be essential for successful engagement of employees in coaching solutions.

Participants will be responsible for creating meaningful goals aligned with the organization’s priorities and mandate, prioritizing the time required, making progress towards and sustaining desired results.

Submit an AskMyHR (IDIR restricted) service request and follow these steps:

• Select My Team/Organization > Coaching & MyPerformance > Coaching Services
• Note any special considerations or requests that would assist in processing your coaching request

If you're a B.C. government employee without an IDIR, call the BC Public Service Agency to submit your service request.
