Malde Creek

23  During the periods April 1 to June 30 inclusive and September 1 to November 30 inclusive, in that portion of M.U. 4-9 that is the drainage area of Malde, Goodeve, Morris and Shepherd Creeks, and the drainage area of Cambridge Creek upstream of the 750 metre elevation.

Proposed regulation

Designate the portions of Malde Creek Rd within the closure boundary as year-round open to its intersection with Malde Creek [49.018184°, -117.792827°], approximately 5.4 km.

Rationale

The proposed regulation change is intended to,

(1) move road closure point to manage compliance to historic enforced boundary, and

(2) move road closure point to location generations of local hunters have understood the closure boundary to be located.
