Proposed regulation
No hunting prohibition within the area 400 meters on either side of the Lord River Road and Chilko Newton Road within Title Area
Rationale
The Province seeks to support First Nations in prohibiting non Indigenous hunting activity on two roads that traverse Aboriginal Title Areas. Despite a gate on the Lord River Road, resident hunters are still accessing this area by removing the gate. To the north resident hunters are accessing the Chilko Newton Road using all terrain vehicles from the developed areas to the West.
