B.C. has many services for victims. This section provides contact information (phone numbers and email addresses) victims of crime can call for help, support and more information.

Contact Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP):
The CVAP provides financial assistance to victims of certain crimes, immediate family members and some witnesses. For more information, see Financial assistance (Victims)
Contact Victim Safety Unit (VSU):
Victims of crime can ask for information about the person who was charged with the crime (accused) or convicted of the crime (offender) by calling the VSU.
Register by providing your name and contact information. VSU will update you with information such as what happened at court and whether the offender is in jail
If the offender has been sent to jail for two years or more, they will be in a federal correctional centre (penitentiary).
