If you’re selected

Last updated on May 5, 2022

Anyone selected as a juror will be sworn-in or affirmed and then seated in the jury box. Sheriffs will ask jurors to fill out intake forms and will provide important trial information about when and where jurors are to return for the start of the trial, estimated length of the trial and court hours. If you require a letter to inform your employer of your jury duty obligations, please request one from the sheriff.

Sheriffs are also available to answer any further questions about returning to the courthouse to take part in the trial.

Keep your summons, as you will need it on the first day of trial.

Read more information on being a juror prior to the start of the trial.
