What is MineSpace?
MineSpace helps mine operators and authorized representatives manage regulatory activities online.
With MineSpace users can:
- View mine information and permit records
- View inspection history
- Submit applications, incidents and reports
- Track application status
- View permits and supporting documents
- Manage access to mines
- Receive notifications and updates related to their mine records
Who can use MineSpace?
MineSpace is available to:
- Mines Act permit holders
- Mine managers
- Authorized employees
- Contractors, consultants and agents who have permission from a permit holder to access mine records on their behalf
Access is granted to specific mines. Access to MineSpace is not automatically provided and must be requested before mine records can be viewed.
Submit Reports
MineSpace is the preferred way to submit permit-required and code-required reports. Report submission is available from the Reports page within your mine record.
Quick steps
- Sign into MineSpace
- Select your mine
- Open reports
- Select Submit Report or choose a requested report from the list
- Upload your report and submit it

Request Access
Before you can access mine records in MineSpace, you must have a Business BCeID or a Basic BCeID account. Access is granted to specific mines and must be requested before mine information can be viewed.
Step 1: Register for a BCeID
Register for a Business BCeID or Basic BCeID if you do not already have one. If multiple employees require access, add them to your Business BCeID account.
Step 2: Submit an access request
Go to MineSpace and select Join MineSpace.
The access request form is available directly from the MineSpace login page. The form will collect the information needed to verify your access request.
Step 3: Attempt to sign in
Go to MineSpace and sign in using the BCeID account that was included in your access request.
You may see an Access Denied message. This is expected. The Mines Digital Services team uses your initial sign-in attempt to verify your account before granting access.
Step 4: Wait for confirmation
The Mines Digital Services team will review your request and verify your authorization. Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email.
Support and Resources
Need access to another mine?
Once you have access to MineSpace, use Manage My Mines within MineSpace to request access to additional mines.
No longer need access?
User Manage My Mines to request removal from a mine record.
