Overview

What is MineSpace?

The Ministry of Mining and Critical Minerals is developing a system to make it easier for the public, industry and government to see what's happening in the mining industry throughout British Columbia. The system is called Mines Digital Services (MDS).

MineSpace is part of the MDS system, developed specifically for industry. It is intended to make it easier for business to manage applications, see their inspection history and submit reports.

This system is being developed iteratively and with input from people who operate mines throughout B.C.

What can you do within MineSpace?

  • Access mine permits and inspection history
  • Submit applications, incidents and reports
  • Check submission statuses
  • Manage files within submissions
  • Receive in-app notifications on activity updates
