Community Energy and Emissions Database (CEED)

The Province is implementing a Community Energy and Emissions Database (CEED) to enable evidence-based climate action policies, programs, and investments across B.C. This will support the efforts of local governments and Indigenous nations to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, adapt to a changing climate and implement infrastructure projects.

The database provides a framework to track and support:

  • Community energy planning
  • Community energy and emissions data
  • Community-led clean energy projects
  • Funding programs to support climate action projects
