Re: Oriented Waferboard

With reference to your letter of September 16, 1987, regarding "Dawson Creek Gold" oriented waferboard. The product complies with 0-2 grade requirements in CSA 0437.0, "Waferboard and Strandboard".

We accept this product on the same basis as indicated in Appeal No. 764, and a copy of that appeal is attached. We would point out that we do not accept any variation from the Code requirements for plywood in any respect, including the use of edge clips. Acceptance is also conditional on the panels being correctly marked in accordance with the requirements of the CSA standard.
