2. Submit your form

The online form is automatically sent to us once you click "submit". If you are filling out the Printable (PDF) form, send it to BC AgriStability using one of the following methods:

3. Once your New Participant form is received, we’ll do the math to calculate your coverage and enrolment fee

After we have your New Participant form, we calculate your farm’s profit margins based on average production, average expenses and fair market inventory values. These margins determine your AgriStability coverage and enrolment fee for the year. If we need more information, we will contact you. You can learn more about margins, fees, and coverage calculations here: How AgriStability Works

4. Receive your Enrolment Notice

Once your New Participant form is processed, you’ll receive an Enrolment Notice Invoice by mail. This includes:

  • Your AgriStability program fee for the year
  • Your estimated coverage for the year

5. Pay your AgriStability fee

  • Payment Deadline: April 30th of the year you are enrolling (July 31, 2025 for the 2025 program year) OR 30 days after the issue date on your Enrolment Notice, whichever is later.
  • Payment instructions are included in your Enrolment Notice.

6. Submit Your Statement A

Submit your Statement A (farming income, expenses, and production) by September 30 of the following year (e.g., September 30, 2026 for the 2025 program year).

  • For Individuals: the AgriStability Statement A must be submitted to the CRA when you file your annual farm taxes. CRA will send your information directly to AgriStability. You can also use our online forms to submit a copy to us so your file can be processed sooner.
  • For Corporations: you can submit your AgriStability Statement A directly to us using our online form. It will enter our file processing queue right away so you receive payment quickly. We will also pass the form along to the AgriInvest program so you can receive your deposit notice.

Please remember, to be eligible for AgriStability or AgriInvest, you must file farm tax to CRA each year.
