Air quality and nutrient management

On February 28, 2019, the Agricultural Waste Control Regulation was replaced by the Agricultural Environmental Management Code of Practice. This page is being updated to be consistent with the new regulation.

Nutrient management is linked to regional air quality: dust and odour concerns arise during nutrient application, and ammonia-nitrogen can be a precursor of fine particulates (PM2.5) in the air.
