- As Specialized Provincial Services resumes operations, our focus remains on ensuring families continue to receive the services and supports they rely on.
At Home Program Medical and Equipment Benefits continue to be available.
The At Home Program:
- Staff are working to ensure timely admissions, access to equipment, and provision of supplies for children with complex medical needs. We remain committed to maintaining continuity of support, and these requests are addressed with urgency.
- The Product Distribution Centre, which provides medical supplies, has returned to regular processing timelines
- Processing timelines for School Age Extended Therapy Benefits are longer than usual as we actively work through all received requests. To help us with efficient processing, we kindly ask that families do not submit duplicate requests or send multiple emails about the same request marked “urgent.” Duplicate submissions slow down response times.
We sincerely thank families, caregivers, and service providers for their understanding and patience during this period. We also extend our gratitude to our staff, whose dedication and professionalism continue to make a difference for children and youth with support needs across BC
The At Home Program is designed to support children and youth with severe disabilities and complex health care needs. The program provides a range of medical equipment and services for eligible children.
