Search – Substantiated Complaints

Last updated on October 22, 2020

The Assisted Living Registry is committed to providing the public with information about assisted living residences in the province.

Substantiated complaint means an allegation that has been investigated by the Assisted Living Registry and has been determined to be true. This means the residence is non-compliant with the ACT or the regulation.

  • These reports do not make recommendations, compare residences or provide personal information about residents or complainants.
  • This information is general in nature and should not be used as a substitute for a discussion with an assisted living operator.
  • The website is updated regularly. Although every effort is made to ensure that information is accurate, discrepancies may occur between updates.

Substantiated complaint reports can be found under the name of the relevant residence. Use the community list to search residence types for a specific residence.
