Age Forward: BC’s 50+ Health Strategy

In 2024, the Ministry of Health released Age Forward: BC’s 50+ Health Strategy and 3-year Action Plan, a targeted and proactive approach to aging, focusing on enhancing health, autonomy, and dignity for older adults in B.C.

B.C. Digital Health Strategy 

The Ministry of Health commissioned the B.C. Digital Health Strategy to modernize health technologies and develop more connected systems across the province, so everyone in B.C. can have better access to health care.  

B.C.'s Population and Public Health Framework

The role of public health is to promote and protect the health and well-being of all people in B.C.

Lifetime Prevention Schedule

The Lifetime Prevention Schedule (LPS) looks at clinical prevention services for British Columbians, including screening, behavioral interventions and preventive medications provided by a health-care provider, based on age and sex.
