Report changes to your licence or service

Last updated on December 15, 2025

Child care providers must notify the operating funding program of any change to the centre’s licence or services outlined in Schedule A of the funding agreement. Schedule A outlines the centre’s licence and service details.

Providers must also report any licence changes to their local health authority licensing officer.

When to report changes

Changes must be reported within two business days of making the change.

To ensure accurate payments, report the changes and wait for confirmation from the operating funding program before submitting an enrolment report or a monthly early childhood educator report.

Changes will not take effect in a month that:

  • the funding agreement starts
  • the funding agreement has already been modified
  •  the centre or another centre in the organization submitted an enrolment report and were approved for payment
  • the centre or another centre in the organization submitted a monthly early childhood educator report and were approved for payment
