Draft Water Quality Guidelines

The B.C. Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy is committed to public review of draft water quality guidelines prior to their final approval.

To facilitate your input, we maintain an electronic email distribution list to advise potentially interested parties that a new draft guideline has been posted and is open for public comment. If you wish to be added to the notification list, please contact Ali Azizishirazi, PhD. There is no obligation to review any document if you are on the notification list. You may also enter your email in the subscription box to the right and you will be notified when draft guidelines are posted on this webpage.

Generally, written feedback is requested within a 30-day period. The review period may be extended if notice is received prior to the end of the review period.

All public review comments received on draft water quality guidelines will be posted and made available to all interested parties. All submissions must include the reviewer’s name and affiliation, if any.
