B.C. Training & Education Savings Grant
Families in British Columbia are encouraged to start planning and saving early for their children’s post-secondary education or training programs. To help, the B.C. Government will contribute $1,200 to eligible children through the B.C. Training and Education Savings Grant (BCTESG).
Provincial Scholarships Programs
The Provincial Scholarships Program recognizes student achievement and encourages students to pursue post-secondary education.
International Education Scholarships & Awards
Opportunities are available for partial funding for B.C. student groups or teachers who are going abroad on short-term exchange (e.g., 1 to 2 weeks), or for B.C. students studying Chinese language and culture in Grade 12.
Opportunities are also available for international students who are entering Grades 9, 10 or 11 at a B.C. school district or independent school, or graduating from Grade 12 at a B.C. school and going to a B.C. post-secondary institution.
French Education Bursaries
If you are planning to take at least 55% of your post-secondary courses in French while pursuing full-time studies, you might be eligible for a French Education Bursary.
Youth Work in Trades (WRK)
If you are enrolled in Youth Work in Trades (WRK) courses, you may be eligible for a $1000 award.
