Info for Survey Participants

Participation in all BC Stats’ surveys is voluntary but very important.

By taking the time to answer all survey questions, you make it possible for BC Stats to continue to produce reliable and valid data that supports important policy and program decisions.

Surveys can be done by mail, phone or via the Internet. Phone surveys are conducted during the day or evening and sometimes on the weekend. They are administered by various market research firms including Advanis, Leger, R.A. Malatest and Associates, and Sentis.

Under the Statistics Act, all information provided to BC Stats is kept confidential, and is only used for statistical purposes. We do not release any information that could identify individuals or businesses without their consent.

Confirm the legitimacy of a BC Stats survey:
