General Process

Once your AskMyHR service request has been processed, BC Transit will contact you to arrange for a photo and to pick up the pass. If you haven't heard from BC Transit within two weeks of submitting your application, follow up with your AskMyHR service request.

A standard month-to-month bus pass starts on the first of the month and is valid until the last day of the month; however, a ProPASS starts on any day of the month.

If you have a monthly bus pass and your ProPASS starts before the end of the month, BC Transit will reimburse you for the remaining days. You need to take your month-to-month pass with you on the day of your appointment to receive the reimbursement.

Guidelines

There is a minimum one-year commitment for a ProPASS. If you opt out before the year is over, you'll pay the difference between the regular bus pass rate and the discounted rate while you were enrolled in the program. You may opt out early without penalty if there has been a change to your work schedule, location, or a move of residence.
