Commercial Vehicle Permits Online - Registration Process

Register to access the Commercial Vehicle Online Permits system.

To apply for a permit using Online Permits, you must complete a simple one-time registration process. This registration is available to all clients that have requested and received permits in B.C.

Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba Companies may register with New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA) before applying for a Business BCEID.

You will need:

  1. Complete the Online Permits Registration form
  2. Choose Business/Organization and enter your BCeID and password
  3. Fill in the relevant information and submit it to the Provincial Permit Centre
  4. The Provincial Permit Centre reviews the application
  5. A decision on whether you can access the system will be made within 2 to 5 business days (in most cases)
  6. You will be notified of the decision by e-mail at the address entered on the application form
  7. If approved, you can then access the Commercial Vehicle Permits Online service
