Through the Central Okanagan Integrated Transportation Network (COITN) Program, the Province of B.C. is aiming to reduce vehicle traffic and improve transit and active transportation options to build a more integrated transportation network that incorporates transit, active transportation, and land use considerations through the Central Okanagan.

New interchanges on Highway 97 at Boucherie Road and Westlake Road in West Kelowna will increase safety and mobility along the corridor and meet future traffic demands for population and economic growth in the area. 

Highway 97 - Commonwealth Road Improvements

The Commonwealth Road Improvements project will develop preliminary design for improvements at the Highway 97/Commonwealth Road intersection and through Lake Country Town Centre.
