If you qualify for the natural gas tax credit, you will be paid by cheque, unless your corporation is set up for direct deposit.
To set up, cancel or change direct deposit for the natural gas tax credit, complete the Direct Deposit Application (FIN 312) (PDF, 440KB).
Send your completed form to the Ministry of Finance through eTaxBC using the message function. In addition, you can attach the Direct Deposit Application to your natural gas tax credit registration or application.
If you receive a Statement of Account for the natural gas tax credit showing a balance due, you'll need to repay this amount to the Ministry of Finance. This may include any credit that was paid to you in error, and any penalties or interest applied to your account.
Note: Some financial institutions charge a fee for processing EFTs and wire transfers, which may be deducted from your payment amount. Ensure your financial institution does not deduct charges from the payment amount due as this will result in underpayment.
