| Species | MU | Class | Season dates |

| White-tailed deer | 7-2 to 7-18, 7-23 to 7-30, 7-37 to 7-41 | Bucks | September 10 to December 10 |
Rationale:
The goal of this proposal is to provide more hunting opportunities for white-tailed deer. White-tailed deer appear to be expanding in both numbers and range in the Omineca region and their populations are resilient to hunting pressure. As a result, this proposal is not expected to cause population declines in white-tailed deer. In some areas, including the Robson Valley, Vanderhoof and Prince George, higher harvest levels may also help reduce competition with mule deer.
If accepted, extending the buck season in the Omineca region would provide more hunting opportunities with low risk to white-tailed deer populations, even in conjunction with the expanded antlerless opportunity in some wildlife MUs
