The Government of British Columbia is a strong advocate of the arts. Each year, we invest $60M in arts funding to individual artists as well as arts and cultural organizations throughout the province to enhance opportunities for British Columbians to participate and achieve success in the creative economy.

- BC Arts Council: serves as the B.C. Government's primary funding and development agency for the arts, allocating $24 million each year through an independent peer review process. The BC Arts Council approves almost 1,500 grants annually to applicants from more than 200 communities throughout British Columbia.
- Creative BC assists British Columbia’s creative industries including film production, music, digital media and publishing.
- Community Gaming Grants support the delivery of community organization programs that benefit the citizens of British Columbia. Approximately $17.5 million in community gaming grants are allocated annually to eligible non-profit organizations. Applications related to arts and culture are accepted between Feb. 1 and April 30.
