Birth reports record the number of births occurring each year in B.C.

NOTE: In 2019, the Ministry of Health established Community Health Service Areas (CHSAs). CHSA’s are a new geographical grouping made up of community-level areas. Multiple CHSA’s are included within a Local Health Area (LHA). In June 2020, Vital Statistics updated all birth reports on this page to show births by CHSAs.
