Surveys, RESULTS and data

Last updated on February 25, 2026

Silviculture practices are data driven through surveys and submitted reports. Silviculture surveys assist in determining the health and productivity of provincial forests and provide valuable historical perspectives and benchmarks.

The Reporting Silviculture Updates and Land Status Tracking System (RESULTS) application tracks silviculture information by managing the submission of openings, disturbances, silviculture activities and obligation declarations. RESULTS will be replaced by the new Silva application through a gradual transition period during which both applications will be active.
