BCTS is dedicated to contributing to our communities by providing local jobs and contracts, responsible land management and supporting the local forest industry. We support diverse community goals through community and educational programs.

Community Grants

BCTS supports numerous community forest‑based initiatives through our community grant program. If you have an idea or would like to explore a potential grant, your local BCTS business area can help discuss eligibility and next steps.

Education and capacity building

BCTS is dedicated to promoting forest education and investing in capacity building by participating in:

• The Indigenous Forestry Scholarship Program
• The Outland Youth Employment Program
• Co-op placements for university students
• BC National Forest Week events

Knowledge exchange

First Nation, community members and BCTS share knowledge through field visits and cultural activities.
