BC Timber Sales - Timber Sales Advisory Council (TSAC)

The timber sales advisory council gives stakeholders and BC Timber Sales (BCTS) representatives opportunities to consider issues and topics of interest to BCTS' clients and customers.

The committee provides an opportunity to canvass sector views on operational policies and practices, and business practices of BCTS. Members of the council provide advice on a range of policy, legislative and operational matters.

A timber sales licence (TSL) holder who has submitted an application for an extension to the term of their TSL or a person applying to surrender a TSL may request that the minister or a person authorized by the minister waive the required extension fee or relieve the holder from the required deposit forfeiture.

The register shows the extension fee waiver and relief requested applied for during the calendar year.
