Re: Fixture Arm Penetration of Fire Separation

With reference to your letter of December 17, 1987, regarding the penetration of a fire separation by a fixture arm.

We noted in your letter that the building official was strongly opposed to your idea. The matter was referred to him for his comments on December 21, 1987. As no reply has been received providing a basis for the objection, nor further comment from yourself, we assume that the matter has been resolved. Under the circumstances please be advised that we are closing our file.
