Re: Sprinklers for Exterior Balconies

With reference to your letters of August 18th and October 5th, regarding the installation of sprinklers beneath residential balconies on the exterior of an apartment building.

On the basis of the information provided we do not consider the installation of sprinklers to be necessary in this situation. However, we are not able to give a final ruling on this point as we are not aware of the reasons for the municipality's position in this matter.
