Re: Fire Hose Connections, Sentence 3.2.5.4.(2)

With reference to your letter of May 28, 1982 regarding the application of Sentence 3.2.5.4.(2) of the Building Code.

The Board considers that this Sentence, while requiring 21/2 inch diameter hose connections, permits 11/2 inch diameter for buildings below an indicated size.

We do not consider that the Code requires both sizes to be provided.
