Re: Spatial Separation for Sand Storage Addition, Subsection 3.2.3.
With reference to your letter of March 3, 1988, regarding spatial separation for a building addition intended solely for the storage of sand.
From the information submitted we are unable to disagree with the decision of Surrey municipality, and must regard the structure as a building for the purposes of applying the Building Code.
The site plan indicates a rail spur adjacent to the building, and while this may be of no assistance with your particular problem, an earlier appeal did involve a rail siding and spatial separation. This was Appeal No. 112, and a copy is attached for your information.
