Building a Legacy toolkit

The Building a Legacy Toolkit applies to all communities, large and small, and to industry. It contains an array of materials to help you understand and introduce the Step Code.

The toolkit was developed by the Community Energy Association and contains:

  • Checklists for education events
  • Building guides
  • Videos and case studies

Local government peer network

The Community Energy Association serves as the secretariat for a province-wide network. They support local governments with the BC Energy Step Code implementation. Join the network to:

  • Learn what other local governments are doing
  • Get advice
  • Ask questions
  • Share ideas and more

The network is open to any local government staff member. There’s no cost to join and you can be involved as much or as little as you wish. Learn more by emailing the peer network.
