HDPBC Training

The HDPBC training and education materials are offered online though the Ministry of Health Moodle online Learning Management System (LMS).

HDPBC Training Courses Available:

HDPBC Privacy Course

This is a mandatory training course that all HDPBC users must complete. This course provides an overview of:

  • Privacy,
  • Fundamentals of personal information,
  • HDPBC privacy protections, and
  • Teaches users how to identify and report privacy breaches.

The course is structured as a series of five self-paced learning modules concluding with a brief knowledge check. Users who can provide evidence that they have completed the Population Data B.C. or Data Innovation Program privacy training courses do not have to complete the HDPBC training course.

HDPBC Getting Started Course

This training course provides helpful guidance for users on a range of HDPBC services. In this course, users can find information on how to access the HDPBC desktop, on fundamental HDPBC functionalities, and how to begin data analysis using the HDPBC Desktop tools.

Accessing HDPBC Training:

Using the link below, you will be prompted to login.  Use your IDIR or Health Authority access credentials to login if applicable. If you have an assigned PHSA access credential, select the Health Authority login option and use your assigned PHSA email and password to login. You may also login with a basic BCEID.
