Whether conducted by individuals or by larger organizations, health research enriches our understanding of how the healthcare system can be improved to help residents achieve and maintain optimal health. Use these resources to enrich your understanding as you contribute to the dialogue around healthcare in B.C.
Health system partners, such as other provincial health organizations, other public bodies, or eligible researchers, can obtain access to health system data for a range of purposes such as health system planning, evaluation or improvement and public interest research.
The Health and Human Services Library provides access to health and social sciences information for staff and contractors from the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Mental Health and Addictions, and the Ministry of Child and Family Development.
The province provides numerous Health publications and reports to guide professionals and policy-makers in their work, as well as to inform members of the general public.
