Provincial Construction Insurance Program

The Provincial Owner-Controlled Construction Insurance Program (OCIP) provides course of construction and wrap-up liability coverage for public sector construction projects. The program encompasses most B.C. government ministries, health care agencies, K–12 public school districts and public post-secondary institutions.

The Deputy Minister’s Industry Infrastructure Forum (DMIIF) is a committee, with representatives from both government and the construction industry, dedicated to improving government’s infrastructure procurement practices and use of construction industry resources through consultation and information sharing.

The following is a list of DMIIF-approved insurance (in accordance with the OCIP), contract security and indemnification clauses, to be used within the various Canadian Construction Documents Committee (CDCC) documents as indicated.
