Contracts awarded directly to vendors
Last updated: March 30, 2023
Ministries can award a contract directly to a vendor without competition. This is called a directly-awarded contract. Read the policy: Core Policy and Procedures Manual (CPPM) Chapter 6: Procurement > Solicitation phase.
Ministries provide a monthly summary report of directly-awarded contracts that includes:
- Start date and delivery date (end date)
- Contract reference number
- Office, division or branch
- Name of the contractor
- Maximum contract value
- Description of work
- Direct award criteria
Content may be withheld in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
Directly-awarded contract summaries for a specific month are published 60 calendar days after the end of that month.
