Lake reports

Working with the BC Lakes Stewardship Society, lake reports are produced at the completion of the lake study period, which is typically after three consecutive years. Over 100 lake reports have been produced since 1975 and contain information regarding:

  • General and historical information about the lake
  • An environmental summary of the status of lake (e.g. temperature, trophic status, water clarity)
  • Land use and pollution sources
  • Bathymetric maps
  • Monitoring status
  • Useful tips to keep the lake healthy
  • Contact information about the report and references

Lake reports for your lake can be accessed online in PDF format at the BC Lakes Stewardship Society library.
